girlrunningWorking memory is a key executive function that contributes to attention and individual learning activities and research has documented that many individuals with ADHD have a significant working memory deficit.

Cogmed’s program has been show in four randomized controlled trials to enhance working memory and attention in populations that include children with ADHD, normal adults, typically developing preschoolers, and adult stroke victims.  Replications by independent research groups have been reported at scientific meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Our practice offers Cogmed Working Memory training to complement and extend traditional ADHD interventions.  To learn more about the research supporting this program and the benefits of working memory training, contact us for a free consultation.
